Since 2022, Pixway has been responsible for the real-time media server operation at Gamescom, this time using a disguise VX4 media server for Opening Night Live to manage and deliver the show’s visual content.
The system handled the playback and processing of high-resolution content for the live production, ensuring precise, reliable and synchronized visual output throughout the show. With 5,000 guests on site and a peak online audience of 1.74 million viewers, Opening Night Live combines the demands of a large-scale live audience with a global broadcast workflow.
