For the new season of the Bregenz Festival, Pixway upgraded the media server infrastructure of the Seebühne for the production of La Traviata to the new disguise EX3+ system.
At the technical heart of the elaborate projection mapping setup, which uses ten projectors, was the dynamic real-time tracking of 24 moving stage-set fragments. As the stage system transmitted only a single PosiStageNet (PSN) value for each element, Pixway, together with disguise, developed dedicated solutions that enabled the servers to calculate the complete movement of each fragment across all six degrees of freedom in real time.
The project was rounded off by joint system integration and on-site staff training, ensuring a smooth and reliable technical workflow throughout this demanding production.
